A Man
A man who stands the rites of passage
Who crawls along through pain and toil
Who never bends when all around him
Laugh and scorn his mortal coils
A man who fights when all worth fighting
Have passed away in times of old
Who remembers the days of forgotten glory
Yet looks ahead to the open road
A man who wields the hammer
To crush and maim for justice sake
And stands victorious in the moonlight
And revels upon glory’s gates
A man who cares for those once scorned
His open hand a victory rose
One who sees beauty in those not adorned
Still finds the courage to love even those
This man is sought in every corner
His skills admired and envied for
This man is one who carries on his shoulder
The fate and weight of a dying world

Beautifully written and an amazing reminder thank you Elliot!!
